The vow

  • On the dark Caturthī of Māgha the Vratarāja gives the Saṅkaṣṭa-hara Gaṇapati vow, the vow to Gaṇapati as the remover of distress, by the method of the Nārada-purāṇa. Vratarāja ff. 82⁠–⁠86
