Astro Scorpio publishes Jyotisha (Vedic astrology) calculations:
- Kundli: the birth chart for any date, time and place, with planet positions, nakshatras, Vimshottari dasha, yogas, ashtakavarga and the sixteen divisional charts. It also works without a birth time.
- Panchang: tithi, nakshatra, yoga and karana, sunrise and sunset, Rahu kalam, choghadiya and hora for any city and date.
How the numbers are made
Every chart and panchang comes from one calculation engine built on the Swiss Ephemeris. The zodiac, ayanamsa, node, house system and each panchang rule are set out on the methodology page, with the classical text, edition and page each convention comes from. A chart’s footer lists the exact settings used for it.
Where traditions disagree, the methodology page says which reading the site follows. Where no classical source has been found, as for choghadiya, it says that too.
Your data
No account is needed. A kundli is saved under a random link so it can be opened again, and the birth details never appear in that link. The privacy policy lists everything that is stored.
